Classification Code Updated

Please note that the ISAF Classification Code has been updated as of 13 May 2008 - these changes can be seen in the English, French, Italian and Spanish versions below.

Introduction

The ISAF Sailor Classification Code is a service to provide events and classes with an international system for classification of sailors. More details about the system are available in the documents below.

For those sailors entering events which require an ISAF Sailor Classification, ISAF provides a free online system.

Getting an ISAF Sailor Classification

Applying for an ISAF Sailor Classification is a simple, two-step process:

Step 1 – Register with ISAF Sailor to obtain an ISAF Sailor ID (if you already have an ISAF Sailor ID you can skip this step)

Step 2 – Log in with your ISAF Sailor ID (at top of site) and apply for an ISAF Sailor Classification by clicking 'Classification' (at top of site)

Renewing An Expired Classification

If your ISAF Sailor Classification has expired, you should have received an email from ISAF Sailor with details on how to renew your Classification. 

If you have not received this email, simply log on to ISAF Sailor (at top of site) and then click 'Classification' (at the top of the site). This will take you to the Classification Area, from here follow the instructions.
